Technical Researcher

Job Description:

As a Technology Researcher in the computer services field, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential business opportunities. Your work will contribute to the development of innovative solutions and strategic decision-making within our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct extensive research on technological advancements, market trends, and competitive landscape within the computer services industry.
2. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer hardware, software, networking, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and related fields.
3. Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies and their potential impact on our business, clients, and industry as a whole.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technological gaps and propose solutions or improvements to existing systems and processes.
5. Collect and analyze data from various sources, including research papers, industry reports, patents, and technology conferences, to support strategic decision-making.
6. Generate detailed reports, whitepapers, and presentations to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of new products, services, and solutions.
8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to drive technological advancements and maintain a competitive edge.
9. Foster relationships with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to leverage external expertise and stay informed about cutting-edge technologies.
10. Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact our business, and provide proactive recommendations to adapt accordingly.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A strong academic background is preferred.
2. Proven experience in technology research, analysis, or a related role within the computer services industry.
3. Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and emerging technologies.
4. Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
